Black Pyramid Butterflyfish Wall Hanging

Black Pyramid Butterflyfish Wall Hanging

Native to the Indian Ocean, these small fish are planktivores. Far from being the latest diet craze, this means that their diet consists of plankton. And these fish don’t like to eat alone, often forming large shoals of hundreds of fish to have a snack. These fish are usually seen from depths of 3 - 60 meters and can be found all along the Great Barrier Reef. While their conservation status is ‘of least concern,’ they are likely to be greatly affected by climate change which will impact the plankton in the oceans.
