Bluecheek Butterflyfish Wall Hanging

Bluecheek Butterflyfish Wall Hanging

Found at depths of 3 to 20 meters, the Blue-cheeked Butterflyfish is one of the few fish species in the world to have long-term mates. Brightly coloured, these fish have a blue cheek and grow up to 13 cm. It’s diet includes hard coral and benthic invertebrates. A relative of the other butterflyfish found in the Great Barrier Reef, it’s likely to be affected by climate change as the coral in our ocean’s bleaches.
