A Little About Us...
Outer Island is the sustainable design duo of Amy Ranck (graphic designer) and Stephanie Chambers (artist). Founded in 2016, the Sydney based couple hopes their work inspires people to think about and appreciate the planet while simultaneously transporting them out of their everyday environment. They are avid birders, snorkelers and bushwalkers who love to travel and love to collect.
Stephanie (they/them) is a native New Yorker who moved to Sydney with Amy (she/her), a native Sydney-sider after living in Brooklyn together daydreaming about sandy beaches on snowy days. Their work has been exhibited in Australia, New York, San Francisco, Canada, Finland, Taiwan, Japan and Germany.
